Talks
I have always enjoyed giving talks about my work, and I’ve been —and still am— lucky enough to have employers that give me opportunities in that area.
The articles of this series are transcript of talks I’ve given in the past. They often assume a certain level of familiarity with the covered subject.
- Can Tezos Become EVM Compatible?
Tezos smart rollups are a generic framework to write decentralized applications as optimistic rollups, ranging from App chain to generalized chain. Core infrastructure (L1 interop, open interactive fraud proofs) is provided by the Tezos protocol, as I explained during a talk at EthCC[6].
- Being a Stage 2 Rollup from Day 1: Etherlink’s Journey
Compared to Layer 1 blockchains which embraced decentralization from day 1, Layer 2 solutions have preferred to rely on “training wheels.” But what happens when we decide otherwise? That's Etherlink's journey towards Mainnet, and I had an opportunity to discuss this at EthCC[7].
- Scaling Etherlink Without Compromise
In my TezDev 2025 talk, I explained how we'll scale Etherlink tenfold without sacrificing its decentralized principles. This post recaps our plan: boosting execution speed while using Tezos' native Data Availability Layer to handle massive volume. This is how we'll scale "without compromise," keeping Etherlink fast, fair, and non-custodial.
